Retail dealers who sell, or offer for sale beverage alcohol products (such as wine or liquor stores, restaurants, bars, private clubs, grocery stores or supermarkets as well as retail dealers at large), wholesale dealers and importers in liquors, beer and/or wine; and manufacturers of nonbeverage products (industrial); must register with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau prior to engaging in business.
